One day in Las Vegas

Well not really>

The wife and I are going to Vegas the end of February, we'll be flying out on a Thursday night and departing on Sunday.

The reason I ask about the one day is we have an itinerary planned out for most of Saturday, going to see Cher and also The Price Is Right show.

But as of yet, no plans for Friday. If need be I wouldn't mind renting a car for the day and see some local site.

Any one with some suggestions/ideas from past experience?

Go see "O" at the Bellagio.
Cirque du Soleil - O - Las Vegas

Or take a helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon.
Grand Canyon Tours - Las Vegas Tours - Papillon

My wife and I did both and thought they were very cool. The helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon takes longer and includes a "champagne" lunch under a shaded picnic area along the Colorado River.

We also had fun just walking through the different hotels. We stayed at "The Hotel" which was cool but very NOT Vegas. We went to the other hotels to get the Vegas vibe.

I did look into the chopper rides looks like a great time! Shuttle & champagne Not a drinker. Also checked out the tandem jumps, but they have a 240lb limit

We're staying at the Stratosphere Hotel.

The shuttle wasn't bad and you can have soda instead of the champagne.

You fly right over the hoover dam and get a great view of it. I never rode in a helicopter before that so I was thrilled with the whole experience.

If you like Chinese food, check out Wolfgang Puck's Chinois at Caesars.

They had some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten.
