There the hell are Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner,Cindy Lauper? But, I definitely agree on Freddy Mercury. The only woman on the list you have posted is Janis Joplin, isn't this a bit one sided? A lot of women were and are great voices of Rock.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

+ 1, especially Tina Turner, and what about Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders
Remember Taylor Dayne? That girl had serious pipes / big voice.

Certainly Benatar and Turner. Lauper is more pop than rock.

And I still say Joan Jett is Grace Slick's daughter.

How many times do I have to say I do not get PMS. I had a hysterectomy. Medicines gift to women.

Besides how can you say these women s voices had no effect on Rock? They can still hold there own with the men on your list and knock the pants off of them to boot. When John and I were looking over your list we found you slighted some great voices. Jody
John says they are talented artist and attractive, and you call yourselves men and can over look them. The John

What about the Wilson sisters of Heart, Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox. Cone on guys, you know I have a good point here. Not all of the best Rock singers are men, there are plenty of women who deserve to be counted as well.

I think it has pretty well been established that the original survey is abit weak. With a couple of exceptions it fails.
