Seattle police kill armed man in Nazi uniform

Seattle police fatally shot an armed man dressed in a World War II-era Nazi uniform after neighbors complained that several men were firing rifle and shotgun rounds in an alley.

Police spokesman Jeff Kappel says neighbors in the city's University District directed police early Thursday to a house divided into several apartments. When police knocked on the door of one apartment, Kappel says the man who answered held a long rifle with a large bayonet attached.

The spokesman says the man refused several orders to drop the weapon and then pointed it at one of the officers. Two officers shot him several times and he died at a hospital.

Kappel says police searching the house found a large collection of German military and Nazi regalia and a lot of alcohol.

The dead man was not immediately identified.

I wouldn't know, since I've turned off avatars and sigs. You're probably on your fifth avatar today, and I wouldn't even know it

^ So why does yours keep changing then?

Also, his avatar is now a disabled incontinent octogenarian falling out of his wheelchair. The caption is hard to read, but it's something to do with eating vegetables.

LOL.......Well, I am sure ya'll didn't have as much of a good time as I did. I worked at the Hilton Torrey Pines for the NYE Party. Partied hard, then about 2 am I walked around the hotel knocking on doors, looking to crash slept in till 12 noon on the 1st, then partied at the Pool party. It was a blast but honestly it was a bit over the top for me. It was too big but all in all it was fun. So whats the plan for 2009?
