You know and I know that the Bush administration was/is the most partisan in our nation's history. Standing up to that partisanship and overseeing the executive is a Congressional mandate. The fact that the Dems failed in that regard only goes to show how weak-kneed and irresponsible they really are.

Pissing off the rest of the world does not make us stronger. All Bush has managed to do is to fill the void left by the USSR as world bully. World leader is a lot better spot to fill than world bully, IMO.
And when the World gets in trouble, who are they going to call? (just like )
Who is going to be able to help at the drop of a hat?

Did I miss the survey of every human on this plant?

"Courage in one's convictions" is a lot like "faith". It's only as good or bad as the convictions themselves. Making up your mind to do something, facts be damned, then surrounding yourself with advisers who won't challenge you is the height is egocentric idiocy, and a hallmark of poor leadership.

The president’s final Gallup approval rating of 2008 is 28 percent; a number like that means some core Republicans don’t approve of Bush’s performance, and even among the many in the GOP who still approve, there are a number who are ready to see the president go.

Bush knows that.
I know it is not right to gloat...BUUUUUUUUT this is just too Fn easy. While calling the looming recession in 2006 was actual hard work, this was more in jest and just looking at the numbers and trends and making some general assumptions based on those trends.

By the way, the first usage of Shrinking28 came 022008.

They'd like nothing more then to see capitalism die so they could implement there socialist dreams.
You need to submit that to the National Review. That's just some funny stuff.

Admittedly, Face and Howling Mad Murdock appear to have been involved.

And No Plan Decker appears to have been promoted to Pentagon planning.
