ROFL! It's extortion now!

We need a right-winger in this forum who is not psychotic. They exist, don't they?

I never understood the Palestinian (an odd choice of names since 'Palestine' was renamed 'Jordan' a while back)/Israeli issue as a subset of Right/Left.

In any case, you're completely wrong. All of you.

I think we went through this first thing a long time ago. ALL old maps show Palestine as the area between the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean.

About the second thing, right wingers are generally in favor of imperialistic enterprises and military solutions, and left-wingers against, no?

About the third, deleted

Note I did not say 'exclusively' ;)

The part to the east of the Dead Sea and the Jordan River was part of the British Mandate known as "Transjordan" but for obvious reasons that's a relatively-modern colonial appelation.

Forget about the Garden of Eden, Mesopotamia, and the Byzantine Empire. More recent (thus more relevant) maps show Palestine as occupying the areas now called Jordan and Israel.

And "imperialistic enterprises" are in the eye of the beholder on this score. I know plenty of leftie Zionists.

I haven't seen a serious one (I mean serious in a scholarly sense). The only ones I've seen encompassing Jordan were crudely thrown together, and being retailed by those who wish to complete the expulsion of Palestinians from Palestine. Show me where I am wrong? And, careful with that word "occupying"

Also, show me where Palestinians were transported en masse to European shtetls, displacing the erstwhile residents there, with aid, comfort, and weaponry provided by the major powers.

Otherwise I'd say "imperialism" remains accurate.
