You do not seem to understand that there is really little difference between the creation of Israel 60 years ago, and the beginnings of the US about 400 years ago. Think about it!

NO they are NOT THE SAME!
The US was formed as a cession effort from Britain (that was not 400 years ago). If you're talking about the Americas and how they were taken from the natives then maybe you have some parallelism to a certain extent only.

I think the creation of Israel was fundamentally wrong, both for the reasons it was created and how it was created. If you disagree with this statement then you would have absolutely no problem with, lets say, giving about 8-10 States in the middle of the USA to the Tibetans and arm them with nukes and letting them expand illegally until only one state was left for the USA.
I wonder how anyone of us would stand for that

Next time you quote me, use the full quote. And NO they are not the same. And if you are talking about the Native Americans it STILL isn't the same, only some similarities. Maybe YOU need a brushing up on history?

Both the founders of America and Israel utilized terrorist tactics as a means of affecting the ends they desired...oh and yes, they both stole "native's" land to expand their boundaries

The US confined its attacks to military targets during the revolution, so I would not qualify them as "terrorists".

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

The only and I mean *only* reason they aren't terrorists is because you won the war. If you had lost it, then they'd be nothing but a bunch of no-good terrorists who hated the British way of life and were trying to force their vision of how the world should be on the world at large.

As Obi Wan said, it all depends on a certain point of view.
