^Dude. There are so many nice cars for $3 to $5k it is ridiculous. Here ya go...

Both of these sold at the listed price, both are 275 hp, front wheel drive cars with decent sized back seats and all power options. Front wheel drive is good for your area of the country and parts are cheap. Keep Bars Leak in the radiator once a year and Northstars will go at least 150k. There are many instances with them having well over 200k. When the motor goes just push it off the road and into the ditch.

Huh?
"The car runs and drives like a new Eldorado! But; yes there is a but, it does overheat after 30 minutes of use. The car has a new water pump, thermostat, and a full coolant flush!"

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I spent a good amount of time checking the car over today.
Timing was exactly where I left it.
I did a fuel pressure test and it was well within the range is should be.
I checked compression
I checked oil pressure
Checked the plugs
Everything checked out fine.

The car simply stalled again at idle in park. I would hear a small surge them poof it's out.

I give up! I am going to go for Geo Metro that I always wanted.

I've always wanted a W126. Don't know if I want the 420 or the 300sd? I kinda like the turbo diesels and would love to tinker with it and convert it to run on veggy oil.

Coming from a 210, I think you'd be much happier with a 124, although an '86/'87 300SDL wouldn't be all that bad. The 126 is too big for my taste.

My fantasy is after I finish my medical training and start earning, to get an old Benz and do a frame off restoration myself (with some help of course). I don't care how many years it takes me.
