lol, I think for the average working economy effected person buying a eco friendly car is out of the question at the moment. I drive a V8 and get pretty decent gas millage by limiting the amount of driving I do. 16 years of oil left, what will that me for all the cars on the road?

Yep. But you don't see me screaming about 'Global Warming', 'Global Climate Change', 'Green House Gases' and all the other fear mongering cliche liberal arguments, telling people that we're destroying our planet and we shouldn't drive these cars. It's all horse shit. I really think you missed my point.

I care plenty about it. I just don't think anyone should profess that they're a champion of environmentalism and then break every damn rule that they want others to follow, like Al Gore does. Don't you see anything WRONG with someone who talks about how we should become energy independent by driving cleaner, more fuel efficient cars and then jump into their Chrysler 300C at 15 mpg and motor along?

I didn't miss your point, I was just busting your chops a little. I agree with you on that, but the argument could be made that he is/was driving an American car. I also think some one like Al Gore should have done everything he could to live inline with what he is advocating. Like our Gov. Terminator was talking at a some function about better fuel efficient cars and was picked up in an SUV....lol what a great way to end a function like that.

Lol, very attentive, I did not write the artcitle, I cut and pasted it. Perhaps I should e-mail the editor with your comments, bahaha.

Also, isn't it Barack Obama? I think they have it backwards, no?

I made no claim that you were the author. It's just that I'm a practicing pedanterist.
