You can imagine who's got the upper hand once someone is in control of the said information
Anytime someone challenges the status quo is a big deal here because if it doesn't fit what the public is being told then that person must be a heretic of some sort. Just read the posts in here and see for yourself. Some even pretend to be experts yet they can't even point on a map where Ramallah or Beit Laham are. That's the sad state of affair our people suffer from so you know that it's easier to either simply wash their hands from this mess or just side one party. Guess which way the coin fell? It's called lobbying at its finest and we have been turned into a Zionist tool, it's that simple. The Arabs have NO CHANCE, every bullshit they hear from us is just that BULLSHIT. In the end Israel will prevail if we stay afloat and don't kill ourselves in the process.

Problem is, we're ruled by people who don't really give a F about this country, so their interests could end up getting hurt after all, if they're not careful....

Aha. I know a few Indians and Pakistanis who I sometimes teach Quraan too so I know how they read it. Nice people and I like some of their food too.

The rice in grape leaves is a what we call ورق عنب. Nice dish that takes a lot of time to prepare but is worth the effort. The rice platter you describe may be a kabsa, machboos, mashkhool, mansaff. I'm sure it's big but not as big as this one:

Absolutely!
Most of our policies are manipulated to be one sided regardless of what our real interests are

Stuffed vine leaves, either with rice and herbs or with a mixture of meat and rice and has many names depending on the region: wara enab, wara dawali, wara areesh, yabra, yalanji (> no meat in the stuffing)ز

By the way, Israel promotes this dish (among others) as authentic Israeli cuisine. They stole the land and want to steal the dishes too.

TAHLOUBE. A Note your avatar is "ban the bomb". Nice. But I do wonder how many people in the Middle East would, like you, ban the bomb's development in their OWN nation if the leaders of that nation offered it to its' people?

Okay, at some point we really have to draw the line!

Unless, of course, they're prepared to wash them as well..
