Interesting Bail out idea...

A letter some-one wrote to N. Pelosi:

To:
Rep. Nancy Pelosi

December 10, 2008

Dear Ms Pelosi,
I am sending this message to you because when I contact my officials I am ignored. Please consider these thoughts.

As the actor Russel Crow stated. If the Government gives one million dollars to each person in the united states it would be cheaper and most of us could solve our own problems. Think about this for a moment. Many people could pay off their mortgage, cars, credit cards, student loans and medical bills. Many people would buy a home or remodel. My home needs a new roof , windows, floors, siding, furniture, and new electronic everything. many people could go to college, parents could afford school books for their public school children, the elderly could afford their medicines and scooters and special equipped cars. Many people could buy new hybrid cars, or at least newer cars that have cleaner emmisions, many people could travel, buy big toys like boats and motorhomes, snow mobiles, and other four wheel things. The homeless would need a central office that could help them use their money to get into a apartments, get medical care, a car and an education which would include accounting and finance management. People on welfare could get off those rolls, and get an education. People would have money to eat out, buy clothes, toys, music, etc. Many people would put their money in the bank, and the wise would invest for the future. Other people could use this money to start or expand a business. Would this not be a better use of funds?

I believe it's a great idea, however one million per person is a lot over the edge... (but it sure would be sweet)
