The sun visor clip on unit is much better.
For you maybe but I can only pick up every third word you say unless you yell at the sunroof.

I just received my new Dual XHD7714 head unit, which has Bluetooth built-in. How well do these work at cutting out background noise? I'm a bit skeptical of using this feature, but I really hate the clip-ons, and fishing for my phone while driving sucks, so I'm game.

that looks pretty cool with the bluetooth and built in mic. only problem is its designated to use in 1 car. i actually use my headset all the time cause I'm too lazy to lift the phone to my ear. lol

Ol skool wit the H7. It's a piece of shit but it works. I put a strip of electrical tape over the blue flashing light so I don't look like a rod.

H7 is the only one I can use with my Blackberry 8700c. It works ok, but when I am in the Van no one can hear me. GMC does not believe in sound dampening of commercial vehicles. For $28,000 you think I could get a little insulation in the cab. I did some of my own which reduced it some but not nearly enough. next step is to gut the cab and use the professional grade stuff in multiple layers.
I also have a Plantronics 520 which works a little better in the van but not much and is works with my Sony Ericsson/phone/Walkman/camera/video camera/signaling device/but a keypad and phone book that sucks ass.
