True that, and my remark was not based on party affiliation but rater on asshoes that keep grinding a non-issue knowing full well it has no merit. Why do you think they hang on to a thread that's not even there? The bottom line is that they can't take it, they can't accept the reality that just came about; the people have chosen their conscience rather than play the "good ol' boyz network" games of the past. It's over for them, the era of bigots is about to end; game's up!

Are you sure about that? Was this past election some act of mass enlightenment, or simply another swing of an ever-widening pendulum? How would you feel about President Duke in 4 years? Don't think it can't happen...

Possible, if we fail to see what we have in front of us as an opportunity.
Let me also be clear that if Duke has better solutions for our country that he would get my vote, so it ain't about who you are, it's about what you can do for all of us as a country as people.

I don't think anyone was running a "right-wing gossip machine." Since this is a matter before the SCOTUS, it's of current interest. Besides, if you read post #23, you'll see that I said that it was much ado about nothing. McBare and I were exchanging thoughts on the technicalities of declaring a citizenship with foreign parentage.

It is NOT a matter before the SCOTUS. Clarance Thomas distributed briefs to the other jurists for conference. That is a standard procedure of jurists that has no legal binding and does not mean it will be heard by the court. Of 842 in the last eight years, only 60 have been heard by the court.

Right now it is a matter of Justice Thomas. He was the guy that Obama said that he would not have picked as a jurist because he was not a good enough or experienced enough jurist.

This explains.

See my post #28. Your cite is from 12/4. The anticipated writ was for 12/5; no action was taken.
Yea, I got a real chuckle when Obama said that about Thomas. Obama was not an expert on experience, especially his own.l Do you suppose what he meant was that Thomas had not put in any years as a community organizer?
