Not sure what a GRA is. And you will have to provide your own facts to support your assertions.
You've never answered my question, BTW. If there were a Republican to blame in this house financing issue, why haven't we heard a name? No true-blue Dem could keep this a secret during a campaign; unless they just want the whole thing to go away.
CRA is what I meant and you know it. But nice slide.
Now, as usual, NO FACTS from YOU. Just regurgitated spin that fails to address the initial question and obfuscates the blame.
If, on the other hand you want MY supporting docs, just do a search, it has all be published prior.
As for answering your question, I certainly have. And it has been answered by me, by the media, by every politician running. Maybe you have heard the name BUSH? Or maybe you have heard the name Rick Davis? Or maybe you have heard the names Gramm, Leach or Bliley?
If Frank also to blame, YES. What about Dodd, YES. Did they do what all was necessary to stop a trainwreck? NO. But the issue that you fail to understand, or really don't want to understand is the apportionment of responsibility of the various players in this.
In 2006, Frank or Dodd would not have had the power to stop a MAJORITY Republican Congress with a Republican President from doing anything. Yet you want us to believe that.
In 1999 Clinton SHOULD have vetoed GLB but he did not. He signed a watered down version that maintained SOME regulations but he should have vetoed it. THAT was an error as GLB is the lynchpin for this.
Now, if you had the balls to post up the "proof" of your assertions we could move to the next step. But apparently you want to hide behind obfuscation OR you just can't seem to find any supporting information for your assertions.
The next level gets into Bushie's OCC deregulation of collateralize security in 2003. You will REALLY like that one.
