oh I know that I'm just busting chops! when I say I don't have time for games damn! thats all I am doing while I am on call here (doing online tech support) for companies that have our machines.

I can connect right into their machines and "see" the setup of that machine make changes and some of the better places even have real time video they can hook up for me to see the results.

at 2.5 million bucks a production line one place I was in has 28 lines! so when they call they get live help regardless of what time of the day it is.

I love doing the on line tech since it pays over above and beyond x 3 times and I'm greedy along with the fact only two other guys like or will do online tech. So if I could do it full time I freaking would!

You must of got one of those damn WB style type where the heating core is like a coil..... Do away with that and put the 41-402 type in. I did this for the gas dryer and for the gas heater.

Just make or use the bracket from the old unit or use some plumber's tape (metal strap with holes in it)

all you need to do is make sure that the blade of the igniter is no more than 1/2 inch away from the thermocouple window or probe.

the 41-402 type last forever and you can get em at any Sears or place that sells repair parts for dryers.

and only cost 20 bucks from Sears

Thanks ! Looks like we have an expert here.

To be fair, I just received the part this evening so let's see what the company has to say for itself tomorrow. If they refuse to send me a new part, I will go for the 41-402 solution. The 41-402 definitely looks like a better designed part.
