You do that in Baltimore and you can count on calling in to work that you lost your ride

Or just go out to a warm car in the heated garage and start off normally. Duh!

Wow, thanks guys.

I knew I'd get a good response and then some here than to post in a dedicated forum.

I've waxed three-quarters of the surface today and will complete the rest tomorrow.

There's definitely something worth pursuing regarding Shane's approach. While I may not fit the car completely in the second bay, I can certainly move many of the items that currently occupy the garage to the basement during the winter and have the last foot or two of the car stick out of the garage. I just have to defer renovating the basement until early spring.

The garage is not insulated to begin with so whether I have the garage door left open or not, it really does not make a huge difference except when it's a blizzard out there.

It's only a Honda Element to some but to me, it deserves my full respect and care - for it continues to serve me faithfully and reliably in a manner I have envisioned it to perform. Just because it's a $150 point-and-shoot does not entitle one to treat it like a POS - with proper care and maintenance, it will reward you with capturing critical moments. Conversely, I know of some parvenu fucktards who paid $5000 for a DCS grill and bitch and moan about its durability and (lack of) performance after not even providing it with a cover ("It's stainless, who needs a cover?") and regular maintenance.
