I have seen them both, I am such a car whore that it is pathetic. That DeVille is the nicest one of that era I have ever seen. Extremely well kept and detailed for the photography. The problem is it is still a DeVille, and the gentlemen who pay big bucks cannot tolerate any Cadillac if it isn't all options checked. If just one option is missing and the car has over 10k miles then just might as well crush it as far as they are concerned. If it is missing say a astroroof then 60% of its value is lost. Wrong tires and incorrect white walls? 30% reduction on the spot. Aftermarket radio in the car? 20% reduction. A/C or something typical not working then you just lost 50% value again. I do not agree but I follow the trends the connoisseurs make and follow. Mind you this is only about the collectors who have no intention on driving the cars, only storing them and keeping them working. This I agree with, cars are NOT meant to be driven. Ever.
