Anyone think a Porsche is out of the question?

Cause you can lease a Cayenne for 36 months at $690 a month.

Just in case you didn't see the advertisement. I know some of you like to use shitty browsers like Firefox that are incompatible with most of the internet and crash like crazy when you do something other than read digg.com, and you miss out on the cool stuff like giant Porsche Cayenne ads on BenzWorld.

Germans. Pffft......

I know, I'm just feeling philosophical about the void in my life that some good ribs could fill.

Qbn, if you are serious go with the VW Touareg. Both the Cayenne & Touareg were jointly developed by Porsche and VW together and currently built in the same factory in Europe and for all V6's they are exactly the same except body style. On the V8's Porsche does change the engine and front suspension but on all units (V6 & V8) the VW is cheaper, paying for the name with a Porsche. Over here for the V6 TDI you will pay USD 40,000 difference between the V6 Porsche and V6 Touareg.

My Touareg I ordered is running late (due in my driveway last Monday but still in the port in Singapore), CEO of VW Indonesia has sent over yesterday his wife's daily driver Touareg V6 CDI and stock unit that they sell here. For a diesel V6 the bitch takes off like a rocket. I will post pics later once I take them but if you are going with one of these go with VW.
