Drew I am shocked at the state of the car, but more shocked that young pople should die. You have my sincere condolences, but remember this is life and you must go on and teach others.

Keep your chin up and go on with the teaching.

The Medical System isn't broken. The hospital is. I hope his family sues their ass. It's unimaginable a hospital would let someone with those kind of injuries lay there. Someone made the decision to put off his treatment in favor of someone else and that someone needs to answer for it. Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.

I am certain when it all clears out the family will sue. This kid should have been medivaced (taken by helicopter) after they cut him out. He was the passenger and as you can see from the photos the front side had collapsed inside the cabin pinning his leg to his seat. One thing for sure, I would NEVER put my kids in a Honda or some other Japanese import. The Rx7 will NEVER be theirs; time for an SL I guess.

That's the state of our hospitals nowadays. I remember posting right here on BWOT while waiting in a hospital emergency room for SIX hours to be seen after I hit my head with wooden board and almost passed out. The only positive that kept me going was the Internet access so I can let my fumes out.

That is unspeakable, horrific

Not sure about the medical system but I tend to think that PG County is broken
