Women are not the fairer sex because...
they do not peak. They stay smoother and softer, by nature and by their own conditioning, far longer than the average male. The male typically has a perfect trifecta of beauty for about 10 years before the very things that made him physically superior ruin him for life. I can see you want details so...
The testosterone that creates the hair and aggression which manifests itself not only in exterior appearance like eye lashes and eye brows, also can be seen in muscles and a body that can be interpreted as posed for action and work. The woman changes first and then remains static for the course of typically 20 to 30 years for the most part, minus the typically aging skin. The heated aggression interpreted in men is naturally found pleasing since it begs to our deepest core of survival that this being can take care of itself in nature, regardless of the reality.
Our society and human nature in general deeply worship spikes and peaks and cannot tolerate consistency and relentless plodding. Therefore the young man is a perfect beast in no small part because he cannot be sustained. Imagine trying to make a Ferrari V8 last over 100k miles. Can't be done, but people worship it anyway. Meanwhile the Lexus V8 goes for +250k miles and people take it for granted citing it is merely ordinary. The Ferrari peaks and the Lexus remains flat; thus men are prettier than women in the most popular sense. Human nature refuses to acknowledge distance covered.
