StarOffice 9

I am thinking about it
Anyone used this thing or its previous versions?
I will install it on my Mac and PCs which means I will have to get a multi-license thingy.

I already invested in that, it's VMWARE so I can install *Office in the Mac OS and have a shared folder. I already have the MS Office in the XP OS with developer kit (I had the license since I used to make stuff with MS crap a few years ago).

I have used Star Office in the past.
Since I only use Linux Mint, my options are few.
I'd personally go for Open Office, which I use exclusively now.
They are similar.
Although, I haven't used Star in 3 yrs.
I still say Open Office is cleaner and less processor intensive.
Star costs money, Open Office is free.

I'll also give a thumbs up to Open Office. I'm very pleased with all of the programs within their office suite. Great stuff, and it's based upon Star Office

Open office is quite good, plays very well with output from other office suites.

I have a copy of StarOffice 7 still in the shrink wrap that I found in my collection. It says, it's an evaluation software and does not mention Mac OS. I will try it and see what happens.

Ok, I am backing off from the 7 since it's just an evaluation piece, I am going for OpenOffice this evening and see how it goes
