When did you turn into a Mac, and why can you not separate yourself from it?

I've seen the same behavior on the forum here in regard to cars, and it always leaves me shaking my head a bit. Goes like this:

"Your car sucks"

"No, you suck!"

"I don't understand why anyone with any sense would buy a Mac! No available parts! No Available software!"
Sounded personal to me. You would not appreciate walking into an auto parts store to purchase a part and listen to some jack off go on a tirade of what a piece of shit your car is. After all, you just want the part without any grief, right? Surely you can understand that it is INTENDED to be a personal attack on YOU and YOUR decision to buy it. Next time someone calls your Auto Parts store to buy a part, see how long he stays on the line when you tell him his CLK, S class or M Class is a friggin piece of wretched shit.
And, yes, Best Buy sucks ass. So do PeeCees.

Now you've changed your story -- substantially. Look at your original description of the incident, in which you alleged that some snot-nosed kid insulted your Mac. I doubt he said what you're suggesting now; I don't doubt that's how you interpret it -- because you're too emotionally vested in a stupid machine.

Whoopsie.

And if my car was a piece of shit, I would doubtless agree, especially since something on the POS just broke, else I wouldn't be there.

What I mean, is the profit margin on Monster or "premium" cables is mind-boggling - not quite as good as a Coke from McDonalds, but close.

Strife! I just realized you are in Kentucky. If you get PM's for some one called the clk man, immediately place him on ignore or you could be sucked into the BWOT Kentucky Mafia.

I get everything at Best Buy at cost....

Monster cables are marked up a ridiculous amount. IIRC I bought a Monster HDMI cable for $24ish after tax.

Damn, this thread got u g l y ! ! !

Let's call it "Best Buy" syndrome.

Best Buy is like one big blue PMS generator -- even the mention of its name makes anyone cranky regardless of sex, age, religion or race.

I have never given one cent to Best Buy

Monster Cables are sweet.

Music stores were trying to peddle them a few years ago so I bought some because.... well not really sure why.

Monster cables make sense for rockin out Hendrix style. Mine have lasted 10+ years, but I can't see using monster cables for anything else.

They are great for use as tie downs for a trailer in a pinch.

They probably know more than the morons at BB or CC.

But the combined knowledge of the people at Fry's Electronics is surpassed by the aforementioned morons.
