it is hardly recent, the UN Framework on Climate Change was released in 1992 from work done by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change over the preceding few years - I don't see the term global warming in their name, just the term climate change.
A little bit of research does go such a long way....
I'm sorry, please see the poster boy's website as quoted.
Nobody believes the UN on this anyway. Including some of the contributing writers of the UN Propaganda Piece.
Some other scientists of note like Richard Lindzen who is the professor of meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. There's Shunichi Aksofu (ph), one of the two most cited scientists in the world in Japan who's completely against it. Scientists like Roy Spitzer and John Christy who do all the atmospheric measurements using balloons, radio signs and satellite, and Fred Singer who established the U.S. satellite weather service.
And when you google for the UN Study it all says global warming. By the way, are we now saying that global cooling will raise the ocean levels? Are we saying that global cooling will reduce the glacial ice shleves in the arctic and antarctic thus decreasing the salinity of the oceans, stopping the conveyor belt currents and creating the "The Day After" scenario?
No we are talking about global Warming and what causes it and who is claiming that human activity is causing it via green house gasses. Co2 levels have not gone down by the way. Only temperatures...wait that can't happen according to the scientific consensus that is telling us that CO2 levels increase temperatures.
