gee, that panel fit quality, particularly on the front R door and bonnet was something else in those days, wasn't it? You just don't see that kind of precision and craftsmanship these days....

Wow, that was pretty sweet. When I was a kid I had the toy to this. I could only imagine how sweet this thing moves.

There is a guy in the Kansas City Missouri area that put a chevy 5.3 motor in a green Family Truckster, just like National Lampoons Summer Vacation. LOL

Wow. A trip down memory lane. My dad had a puke green one that we traded in with 250k miles for a new grey one. Neither had the country squire wood package but other then that they are identical. I spent ten years of my life in those fold up back seats. The smell of vomit (impossible to remove from interior) and the front vents stuck in place after we spilled a 1/2 gallon of root beer on the dash. Ahhh memories. Thanks Shane. I am saving the pictures.

My Dad had one too. A buddy dropped a roach in the back seat and we never even smelled the carpet burning until he said,"Hey man, turn down the heat. My feet are getting hot..." There was no conceivable way I could have explained that one away.

What would you have said? Finish this quote: "Honest, Dad, it must have been..."

P.S. Joel, are you the devil?

Remember the Lexus commercial where they were rolling the marble along the seams? If you put a marble on that one, it'd jump off and hit someone between the eyes, killing them instantly.
