If the pope condemned the war, why didn't American Bishops and cardinals condemn the war? Aren't they obligated to follow their leader's moral standing on this issue? Why are they standing silent as the slaughter continues? Isn't this war against teachings of the Catholic Church, against the wishes of the leader of the Catholic Church? Where are the catholic church organized protests against this war?

Why pick and choose whatever issue is easiest to deal with? Ok, so the abortion is evil, so let's fight against it. But let's not condone all those other evils because they are simply not convenient for us to talk about right now. And this is why I am calling these bishops and priests hypocrites.

Right, and the Pope(s) very often speak against abortion.

Is he wanting to save the "children" so he can later have his pick as to who to sodomise later on? Pun intended. Wouldn't you be just a little curious if a known AL qaeda operative suddenly came into a flying club wanting to take flying lessons? (This post was not intended to put any one's religion down)
I don't want to bash anyone's religion. But, I don't want someone pushing their religion on me. As well as their political views. That includes my church, family, friends and so forth. And, as far as any religion punishing the people for who they voted for is a disgrace to that religion.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

That is their deal. It is not right or wrong. It is the rule to be a Catholic. Now if someone does not agree with that then they do not have be Catholic.

It is like the people who want to fraternize with enlisted personnel in the Military and have inappropriate romantic relationships. Everyone knows the rules. When someone gets caught and they get run up and disciplined there seems to be a lot of hand wringing.

The fact of the matter is like the military, Catholics know the rules to being Catholics. If they do not like that someone who is in authority in their parish, diocese or whatever says they can not receive the sacrament of communion then they have a choice to make don't they?

So you have been stationed iin the Philippines? Awesome girls, awesome sex, awesome temper and the Filipinos/expats alike have a vast access to many types of guns..........
