Spend the weekend sanding and Bondo work. Clean the car real good then hand it over to the cheapest painter and you're golden. You can also buy a bunch of cans and have at it, that's what I did with my Rx7 and got good results. Just work your squeezing skillz

I tried it. They yellowed up a week later. Same with the Avalon. VW has a new kit out that sands and seals them but I haven't bothered again.
