I really believe there is a team for that.

What I have noticed is that, for internet humor, Obama OWNS the table, the house the town. I collect pretty much all the positive and negative cartoons and stupid stuff from each and the difference is about 10:1 with so much more funny McCain/Palin stuff. They are almost up to my Bush file size already. Almost.

That is just tremendous news.
And so we should get rid of the cowards in congress first if we are to go by popularity poles. A full 17% think they are doing a good job

We should get rid of the lot in the following order:

1. Bush and his entire administration for multiple crimes against humanity and the U.S. Constitution he was sworn to uphold and protect

2. Anyone on Capital Hill who approved war powers to the Bush administration in regard to Iraq

3. Anyone on Capital Hill who approved passage of the Patriot Act

That should take care of nearly the entire lot, the rest can stay.

You were not here for the average of averages discussion so I will quickly bring you up to speed.

A poll of an aggregate and a poll of an individual are two different things. For your 17% analogy to hold true, an apples to apples comparison to Bushie's 23% approaval would require that EACH congressperson hold only a 17% approval rating.

While there are some that do, it is not the norm [and how is Norm Coleman doing by the way?]. The 17% aggregate comes from performance of the group, not anyone's particular performance. While Bush's 23% comes specifically from his performance.

I am a "you picked the wrong sized glass to hold the required volume of liquid " kind of guy.

In the Senate, that would leave exactly one guy standing: Russ Feingold. I might've actually voted for Russ if he'd run for prez.

Amazing, isn't it? Are we that out of touch with the mainstream, or are these guys really that evil and/or incompetent?
