That's some pretty deep penetration for the pole - mid-engine cars are pretty scary that way, ain't they?

Judging by the postion of those wheels I can see why he had a problem steering away from the pole.....Looks like a 10mph bump....

That would be why the pole is where the dash is. That is like saying thank goodness I was in a tall SUV that rolled 7 times.
