Nothing at all wrong with the skilled trades but when folks think that anything above that is "unnecessary" or "elite", THAT is problematic.
You should ask the Beebe Bros, how they like being plumbers in Phoenix, AZ.
I see as usual you only read PART of the post. Note the part in bold.
Ask the brothers how much their regular plumbers make. I know that here the larger plumber companies [about half the size of beebe's] seem to do very well at the top but the bottom half that always churns doesn't do so well.
Of course it was very good timing that the Beebe Bros moved to the Phoenix Metro area when the population moved from just over 2.2Million to over 4.5Million during the 15 years that their website says they have been there. MOST cities have not had 100%+ growth in the past 15 years.
