US Gas Prices
News I've heard lately is that demand is down/supply is up; the price of crude is off 40% from a short time back where it traded at over $105 / bbl, yet the price of gasoline should be averaging around $0.40 per gallon less than it is now. The national average should be around $2.26 with oil trading below $70 a barrel, which it's been doing for a little while now.
Makes you wonder how much longer it will take for gas prices to come back down to earth, and whether or not anyone will look into oil company manipulation of prices counter to gouging laws...
