One can say that Cruella De vil is hot and there are certainly some who find her hot. Just because a woman is hot, does that justify voting for a war-mongering right wing neo-con, or a fiend who terrorizes Dalmatian puppies?

So what if your child, once grown, is sent to war (let's assume conscription is reinstated, thanks to hawkish right wing ideals championed by the beauty queen) and perish - something I certainly do not wish upon anyone's child, but for the sake of argument here, I bring up.

Will you still be able to state the same?

Also, what if your daughter was ugly? When she reaches 18 or when she is no longer 'innocent' (whatever your criteria of innocence may be) will you kick her out of your house? I'd like to know what you'd think of her - again, it's a hypothetical, but you clearly show some double standard here - children are sinless to your eyes, but you clearly have very clearly delineated idea about how to treat a hot woman from a woman who is not.
You completely lost me on this one. Maybe you should switch to coffee.

Or, you can develop an understanding of the difference between normal abortion and those very few late-term abortions and make decisions based on viability and biology instead of religion. You can make philosophical decisions on the nature and complexities of war and its reasons and the real costs to humanity and look at the logic of the death penalty and see if revenge is a sufficient motive to kill someone and if so, under what circumstances.
Why? I watched the exchange between Q and someone, may have been you, and don't get why being against abortion requires one to be against the death penalty.

You cannot tell me that it is not a baby until it comes out. Premature babies are born every day in this country and live. They have a heartbeat and lungs, they have fingers and toes, they have a brain. It is a child. Is fruit on a vine not really fruit until you pick it?
This goes to the question of viability. Which is why there is a difference between abortion and the late term abortion that most folks are against on some level [from both sides of the argument].

There is a very valid reason states have specific timing rules for abortion, because a zygote is not a child, nor is a fetus unless it has a level of viability. You would have no problem at all making that distinction on a dog or cat or horse if it threw its pregnancy early, you have difficulty when it is a human. The biology is the same.

I find it an ironic conflict when one feels that "some" killing is OK while other killing should be fully disallowed, without question.

OK Bear, why don't you tell us how the world is millions of years old, And most not biased scientific tests show the world is between 6 to 8 thousand years old.
