Take a look at what this baby's got under the hood.

I could have sworn I mentioned longevity... I personally have never, ever seen an automotive application using one or two turbos last much longer than around 100k when used in a performance application. That is not very good by modern standards to be honest and typically less than a performance normally aspirated application.

My performance oriented turbo application has nearly 240k on its original engine and transmission

The Audi S-series 5 cyl turbocharged cars are absolutely bulletproof, and I believe the Subaru WRX/STI engines have proven themselves capable of lasting for a fair amount.

Not if driven hard, especially the WRX/STI. I had a friend who bought one new and raced it a little at the track and a lot on the street. Subaru bought it back after two turbos, one engine, and 30k miles. Now if you baby and drive them normally you might get some decent mileage. But then again I said performance applications now didn't I? Neither one of those cars are actually performance cars, despite what the silly pansy, limp wristed, nelly auto writers say.
