I leave my wi-fi without password protection and don't mind other people using it without my knowledge. For the person who leaves it unprotected and thinks that it is stealing....I call that greedy.

It is stealing if your ISP is charging you MB download over a certain specified amount. 1 of mine does and 1 of mine is unlimited. But then I have 16 symbol passwords on each of my routers.........

I will say it was pretty fast. Maybe they're just beneficent people. Probably could have gone in for some milk and cookies. But I'd have had to knock on about 40 doors to figure out whose it was.

Not very wise if you have any personal or financial info on your computer. I suggest at very least you turn off file and printer sharing.
