CD cash soon what stock should I buy?

I've been in cds for 18 months soon to be cashed. I'm interested in what stock you guys would suggest me to get into.

Explain why to please

With DOW up/down so much, I will wait for an entry point when the market dropped at least 200+ point at 5 minutes before closing. Winter is coming, I will get back to good energy stock. I think they are at short term bottom. Few names: CNQ, ECA, or fertilizer : POT. I think their fundamental strength has not been broken. All Stocks I gave you are stock across the border, I just can not bet on the Democrat will able to fix anything. If I were you, I will only use 50% this time. Keep 50% CASH

Walmart (USA) Encana (Canada) and add to this a non-stock suggestion (if chosen carefully)...corporate bonds.
