Colin Powell has yet to ditch his GOP. Instead it is the GOP which, in converting to a Christofacist party, has ditched him. If you didn't bother to listen to his interview with Mr. Marbles-in-his-Mouth on Sunday and all you are aware of is Rush's summary for Joe Sixpack or two who can't get up and listen to the Sunday morning news shows, then it is not surprising you have been duped again.
Powell made a point of not casting any aspersions at Bush or McCain. His issues were with the direction of the GOP today, McCain's lack of resistance to the Christofacists taking control of the Party, and the tactics of the campaign - including the selection of Palin. All of those paved the way for Powell's decision to acknowledge Obama's superior leadership skills, greater intellectual focus and energy, and superiority as a strategist based on his campaign.
But hey, since he doesn't agree Palin is suitable for the VP job Rush has decided to shit on him. And you, Jaybaugh, as well. Some real respect for our military personnel. I guess if they aren't dying, they are competing for resources and therefore it should be understood that if they compete for any of your resources they should be drowned in your shit and disdain.
