I would go ape shit if someone used my name on a paper I didn't write and it ends up circulating as some sort of "enlightenment". Thank God the stuff I write in my profession is so fkin boring

on the same subject:
when Mc Same said that the USA has the highest tax rate for businesses (40%)
A true statement, yet again, misleading...
I had wished Obama would have said:
"Yes, we do, but after deductions and loopholes, it ends up that most don't pay ANY taxes!"

I guess that would have created apoplectic shock, possibly putting McCain's gyroscope out of kilter, sending him to the pavement.'
and we wouldn't want that.

Since you're an economic genius, explain to me, in detail, what we're doing wrong, since my wife pays nearly 1/3 of her taxable income in taxes?
Example from 2006 tax year:
85,600 Gross sales
61,100 deductions (cost of materials (flowers, food, equipment, contracted labor, license fees, personal property taxes, mileage, etc.)
24,500 taxable income x 15% federal, 15.2% Social Insecurity and 5% State
= total tax bill of $7985.23. Oh, and let's not forget the ADDITIONAL 8.5% in sales taxes that money is subjected to when we spend it!
And businesses don't pay taxes. What a myth!
I'm printing out this post and handing it out to all my business friends, so they can get a good laugh at your ignorance.

Quit being a tool and think for yourself, for a change, instead of repeating these myths that are told to you by your partisan friends.
