Bet we'll see that quote on a bumper sticker, though.

Yeah, they both agree that Iraq is a key point in the war on terror.

What I am concerned about is this, if this Bill Ayers is such a dangerous character an has done so many dastardly deeds then why is it that he is not serving some jail time yet Charles Keating of McCain/Keating 5 fame was tried in a court of law for his misdeeds? Does anyone else wonder how this Bill Ayers and Barack Obama escaped prosecution for their crimes against humanity? Or was it a left wing conspiracy against that poor Charles Keating and friends?

Yes although that is true, Palin has responded that being a homegrown terrorist at 8 yrs old is nothing since in Alaska her kids knew by the time they were 6 how to shoot and skin a moose. The Palin kids were so adapt at a young age the Moose population avoided at all costs the Palin backyard........

Those who have an agenda seek others who share their views. Why is it so difficult for some of you to grasp the concept of guilt by association? While the jury's out on this Ayers thing, Jeremiah Wright gets swept under the rug. That's where the real questions need to be answered. How can you be friends with someone for over 20 years and not know they're like that? If you hang out with shady people, you're likely to gain corruption from that relationship. If John McCain was David Duke's friend for 20+ years and John McCain referred to David Duke as his close friend and mentor, he'd be finished.

CMitch, straight up, who would you rather have as the POTUS, McCain and his idiocy with the Palin sidekick who the only thing she is influenced by is a hunt guide with a big gun or Obama and his assorted lite baggage?

How often have you heard me say that we're screwed, either way. But, okay, I'll break it down:
1. We KNOW that Obama is clearly a racist, basing that on the fact he's associated himself with racists like Jeremiah Wright. But, he is a very intelligent man. Yet, he's a socialist with a socialist agenda. He wants to raise taxes in an economic time which doing so would be a mistake. He would use diplomacy as a crutch to prop up his administration's foreign policy rather than as a tactic to gain a much needed result. How many times must you talk to someone before you make a determination they're out to destroy you, your country and the freedoms you stand for? I'm afraid Obama would employ diplomacy when diplomacy was clearly not an option.
2. Biden is a known plagiarist, which calls his character in question. Yes, people can change. IMHO, not a terrible guy for VP. He outshines Obama, IMHO.
3. McCain is 72 years old. Not bright but he makes up for it with slyness. He is politically experienced which can go either way. Do we want a career politician in the White House? Would he not be just more of the same ol', same ol'? He voted for the bailout but so did Obama. He had a chance to shine and BLEW IT.
4. Palin is a babe in the woods. Can she find her way out? Probably. She has no foreign policy experience, BUT neither does Obama. She is a VP candidate and Obama is a Pres. candidate. At McCain's age, we should expect, with probability, she'll be the president, one day. Is she ready now? No. Could a couple of years in the WH prepare her? Maybe. Will she have 2 years? Who knows? Palin is very intelligent and she's underestimated by both sides of the aisle. She brings a little comfort to the McCain campaign.

Based on the above info along with other info too numerous to mention in my limited time, I'd grit my teeth and vote for McCain and go home knowing I'd chosen the sweeter of the two poisons. Yuck!

Robert, we're screwed.
