Do the concepts of NATO and UN not enter your thought process? Those were actions by coalitions, not invasions that WE perpetuated.
Your better question would be, where is the outrage against Bush and Afghanistan. It does not exist because it was a rational and justifiable action that addressed both strategic and tactical problems. Iraq, on the other hand was neither of those, hence the outrage.
And by the way, you cannot have a War against an emotion. Terror is an emotion. We have a War against Terrorists, and they do not conveniently live in specific countries where military action is the preferred action to eliminate.
I am sure that the people of Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, South Korea, and the United Kingdom (that is 21 countries by the way, two more countries than what is in NATO) all appreciate the fact they were duped into the war or extorted or however else you want to characterize it.
I also like the fact that you would now put our national interests up for a vote as to when and where to defend ourselves. I can see it now.
"Can we please stop the impending attack that will coming, pretty please?"
McBear you are wrong on this. You have the mentality of medieval Europe. Build a Castle and let the people come to you for business. Well my friend that whole Fiefdom/Fortress attitude has been proven to be wrong time and again.
