The only way to date these documents is to match historic characters mentioned back to some other record from the same time period, or by using discovered artifacts. I am at a loss how Haddrix can claim something some supposed "scholars" said, since the ability to match up information in the Bible begins after any of the first five books, which deal with Moses, a character no one can find any evidence of ever having existed - he is merely legend in the Bible, along with Adam, Noah and the rest of the gang that existed before Solomon, who IIRC is the first Jewish king mentioned in some other culture's history, and even he is pretty teneous.
One would think that the Egyptians, after being visited with plagues and frogs raining from the sky and the Nile turning into blood, would have mentioned it somewhere in the massive amounts of hierglyphs they have left us, but they did not, perferring more important matters like the current measurement of the Pharoah's dogs' balls. The Jews become visible to recorded history when the Assyrians, Babylonians and such mentioned them, so that marks what we could call somewhat accurate historical text to about 600 BC, some 2700 years ago. Everything before that lacks any kind of archeological or contemporary confirmation. That is not saying we won't get it one day, but until we do, from an academic view, they are old stories, nothing more. Myself, I'd give more credence to the Pharoah's dog.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
