Are you people really that moronic? Bush and McCain hate each other and are far apart politically. One is a Barry Goldwater conservative and one is a big spending christian conservative.

You might want to do you homework prior to making that assertion. McCain is about as far from Goldwater as Obama is.

Look at how often McCain voted WITH Bush over the past EIGHT years. Look at how many times McCain voted WITH Bush1 during his FOUR years. Look at how many times McCain voted WITH Reagan during his Presidency. Both McCain and Bush are intricately tied to NeoConservative Economic, Social and Foreign Policies. High Deficit Spending, Deregulation at RISK of failures, Trade Deficits, Invasion and occupation, Arrogant Foreign Policy, Social Conservatism.

Sorry, extracting McCain from Bush's shadow is not going to be possible.

You're all wrong. McCain is neither a Goldwater conservative, nor an incarnation of GW Bush.

McCain completely lacks one of GW's most endearing qualities -- the bizarre, unparalleled Rovian hyper-partisanship.

But he does have 50% more unilateralism.
