Until there is a viable third party alternative for Legislative branch, voting independent for the Executive branch is little more than a gesture. That is what the US desperately needs - a legitimate third party. What possible difference could a Ralph Nader or H. Ross Perot make without having Congressional backing?

First time in my 38 years of recollection that someone is going to get elected who promises to raise taxes. Weird. I guess we owe it to them, whoever they are, and for what we are not really sure, but alas we owe it to them for we are guilty of feeling guilty about being successful. We need strife and impoverishment to bring us down and back to our senses so we can justify building it all back up again when we feel we are deserving.
