Well, I'd certainly disallow traffic from them around here.

Either way, the operators of "anonymizers" are VERY cooperative in working with the law, as evidenced by the work they did tracking down the Palin e-mail hacker to U-Tenn.

How long do you think it will be before we start accepting our dollars back from China in exchange for letting them dump their nuclear and toxic waste over here?

Two things: FDR appointed a buttload of SC justices (10, I think), so I expect there was quite a time for the institutionalization of the programs prior to the court turning conservative.

I am unsure about your last sentence. Congress has rights to make laws within the limits of the COTUS, so a challenge would be on the constitutionality of the law.

As soon as they realize that the homes that were built with their monies are worthless cardboard junk put together in a hurry for the next sucker. They would want solid construction and your cave will do especially if it's in a national park or a pristine area.

The reason for it is simple. One of those 1937 decisions (known in legal circles as The Revolution of 1937) upheld the principles I have repeated here: The power of Congress is defined in the first sentence of Article1:8. Some of the misconceptions here are hilarious. The clause on patents was included because the thirteen states had each been issuing patents, causing much confusion and hurting scientific advancement. The clause was put in merely to clearly define Congress's role as the supreme source of patent law. All of the others came from the same type of situation. The role of Congress is defined in the single sentence that begins 1:8.

The intent of the Founders was to create the universe Congress operated in. In the original document, they were charged with funding the military and in providing for the general welfare. All other matters were supposedly left for the states and the people: contract law, criminal law and the definition of human rights - that was the universe they were suppose to operate in. The Civil War then totally redefined those concepts again. The guaranteal of Human rights were removed from the jurisdiction of the states and given to the Federal Government, who was now charged with insuring we are all equal before the law, and this in effect placed contract law under Federal purview as well, in that now the Federals had human rights interests in contract law.

The state or any state, or any of it's citizens also no longer had the right to determine what another human being's life destiny without due process of law - the state could not command that a person was to be a slave, and in our modern world, that a woman was forced by the state to bear children against her will. Before the Civil War, the 10th Amendment was used to give one class of people the right to rape, rob, enslave and murder another class of people. In the end, over 600,000 people died to end it's foolishness, and The Tenth has now essentially become moot.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address
