I have had a Canon EOS 5D for several years now and find its capabilities truly beyond mine, not that that would be difficult. I bought it to replace my Canon A2E film body and chose it mainly because I could continue to use my Canon lenses and because the sensor chip was a full size 35mm frame chip. Meaning the lenses worked exactly as intended and didn't need to have the focal length artificially adjusted upward to account for the fact that the typical sensor chip was smaller than the 35mm frame, meaning the edges of what the lens was able to bring into the frame were being "cropped" off by the size of the chip. Kind of involuntarily. But it won't make movies. This is like an all-in one digital camera. Mine may go on eBay.....
Nice post. Thanks, Jim
