I find it disappointing that the Kookbergers here had no comment when GS quoted democRATS on the same issue in post 209, but you're trying to rip me a new asshole for quoting Republicans. Get a grip! You can't be that scarred--can you?
I was commenting because you posted up cheeringleading bysome Republican politicians that flew in the face of the other people in the room. Three groups of people were there. Democrats, Republicans and NeoCons. Two of the three groups said that McCain threw a wrench into the talks, caused them to break down. Even some of the Republcans said it.
Then the Republicans went into their caucus and came out with their statement that "McCain's actions were invaluable in moving the process forward!" The statement is off on two levels. FIRST, the process broke down, not moved forward and SECOND, it only came after their closed door meeting, after Bhoener and McConnell got their ducks in a row. Prior to that, wild ducks were saying McCain screwed the pooch.
So, I was pointing out that you chose that singular view to post up.
And no, we are not scared at all. Really.
Oh, and you shouldn't look at the polls on realclearpolitics. You won't be happy. And yes, they are all above MoE, except the red one.
