Actually, what he posted was fact. I find no downsides in secret ballots, do you? What are the merits of this particular bill?

Well Ed, aside from a couple of croaking frogs, still awfully quiet from the usually irrationally exuberant bare-assed wrong.

Probably too busy with his legislation to abridge the 1st Amendment's guarantee of Freedom of Speech. To his ilk, voting is much like speech, sometimes you have to shut people up so you can tell them how stupid they are.

The biggest problems we are facing right now have to do with George Bush trying to bring more and more power into the executive branch and not go through Congress at all and thatís what I intend to reverse.

~ Senator Barack H. Obama

Well, I think I made my opinion pretty clear - corporations don't offer any ballot at all, in fact all their resources are directed at preventing an election in the first place, yet you call the other side, the ones who are at least calling for an election on the subject, as not being democratic? Corporations want top-down, lock step obedience with no interference from unions, they dictate what you can or cannot say if you want to hold your job, and are given wide rights to do so in law, and have been known to use machine guns to prevent union organizing. So tell me again, who exactly is undemocratic? A union that wants to hold an election or a corporation that wants no election at all? Fuck your "secret ballot" red herring. Tell me. have you ever heard of a secret ballot election taking place at any shareholder's meeting? Yeah right.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address

You're right, comrade. We can't trust the proletariat to know what is best for them. Instead of punishing companies for illegal activity, let's abridge one of the fundamental principles of a free people.

You're not just a fanatic you're a corporatist lackey.
