I am an optimist, but reality has nothing to do with wishing and hopes. Those people waiting in line for I-phones are good to go and yes it can be worst but it was better years ago so now is what those said back then can be worst. The cost of such things like groceries have risen over 30% in just 4 years, but not every bodies income has risen to that level. No matter what a large majority of Americans are living 25% + over their monthly income. Its hard to believe everything is fine or take a stance by saying it could be worst.

I'll pick center of the line, cuz this far left and far right to me is just a crock. Not all people can be just either or. Because not all people are made from only 2 cookie cutters.

I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

wow you know how to make people laugh, that was a good one.

And no it doesn't speak on how well off Americans really are, it just shows what some people will do to get away from it all. Entertainment, Drugs and Alcohol will always be on an upswing during hard times. The I-phone is an entertainment device and has no real setting in the American economy and much less then a Blackberry.

True the only thing I will agree with you on is that it's the American individual that will get America out of this slump, but things will not be as easy for our kids.

That's okay, and there is no reason you have to be extreme right or left, just don't let the far left pull you to that side of the road. After all, you do know what happens to those who try to stand in the middle of the road don't you?

They don't look like older folks with kids nor do they represent a good sample of the population in the US. Just because you live in affluent area that does not make the rest of the country look like your woods. That photo is very misleading.
