Those are NOT scientific conclusions! You can't draw a conclusion based on shapes or similarity in clotting just because alka sounds like gum and has meanings like blood clot. An embryo is NOT a blood clot at any stage.
Ok, I know that you want to hang to any thread of pseudo evidence to demonstrate the "accuracy" of what you believe in but unfortunately this just makes what you believe in suspect and no one will take what you say seriously. If you want to promote religion stick to the human aspect of religion and avoid science as it can come back and bite you.

Glad to have you around, FullOption.

As you said, there are many scientific signs in the Quran that go along with science as we know it today, not 14 centuries ago, when Quran was first revealed to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. This is a relatively new field pioneered by the French surgeon Maurice Bucaille when he first published his book "The Bible, The Quran and Science" in the 1970s.

Quran is not a science textbook nor claims to be one but Allaah urges us throughout Quran to look carefully, think and reason. If the Quran was Muhammad's brain child, will he keep asking us to read and reason? won't he be more worried that people will stumble upon mistakes in the Quran even without looking for them? Will he challenge mankind to find a single mistake in the 600+ pages of Quran? Will he be comfortable describing embryonic development, plus many other natural phenomena?

Sticking to the human aspects of religion, as you suggest, is not enough because there are other aspects that deserve to be looked into and because the sound of reason gets lost in the sea of lies-based propaganda. Tell me what's the percentage of Americans that base their knowledge of Islam on reading the Quran as compared to TV. You personally came to know Middle East people and politics by traveling. Don't you always have different opinions with Americans who only get info from the media?

By the way, alaqa means a leech, a suspended thing and a blood clot.. 3-in-1 and doesn't only sound like elka=gum only.. It's the "mudghah" stage that looks like a chewed gum. If you read the post carefully, you'd find the similarities amazing. How could Muhammed have know these details 14 centuries ago, with no microscopes? The site I got the info from says: Hamm and Leeuwenhoek were the first scientists to observe human sperm cells (spermatozoa) using an improved microscope in 1677 (more than 1000 years after Muhammad ). They mistakenly thought that the sperm cell contained a miniature preformed human being that grew when it was deposited in the female genital tract.

Richard Dawkins's website has been banned in Turkey because of "defamation to Harun Yayha author of th creationist book Atlas of Creation.
http://richarddawkins.net/article,3128, ... nd-Critics

The page that caused the ban:
http://richarddawkins.net/article,2833, ... rd-Dawkins

Harun Yahya's website:
Harun Yahya - An Invitation to The Truth
Worth remembering though that Turkey has a solidly, and even ardently, secularist constitution and legal system. As mentioned in the article, the site was blocked via recourse to general anti-defamation legislation similar to UK libel law, rather than anti-blasphemy legislation.

As for Islamic creationism, Damien Thompson devotes half a chapter to them in Counterknowledge. He states that Muslims form the largest body of creationists in the world (p39). He also suggests that in some areas of the UK, Islamic creationists far outnumber their Christian counterparts, and notes that a 2006 poll of Muslim students found that "less than 10 percent accepted the theory of evolution." (p.40)

Thompson states that Islamic creationism is largely the product of Harun Yahya (or others using that name). His Atlas of Creation attempts to deny
evolution "by showing that today's animals look exactly like their fossilized ancestors" (p43). His institute is well funded, and has opened more than 80 'museums', which include portraits of "Darwin framed in dripping blood."(p45). He goes on to state that in Indonesia, Pakistan and Egypt the proportions of people believing in evolution are 2, 5 and 3 percent.(p45).

(Before mentioning that he may be biased he also has a go at the Christian creationists).

And rememer kids gods don't make mistakes , opps sorry yes they do
