Last I heard 140,000 Republicans voted for him. Goes to show you how fanatical the GOP nut jobs have become, voting for a convicted felon, says a lot more about what's left of the stupid dipshits GOP voter "base" (or should I say "debased").

So we have Al Franken looking good in MN and Saxby Chambliss looking grim in GA, a race that keeps on giving. Jayhawk, when it comes to predicting the mood of the electorate, you suck.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

I did, as he can clearly feel it. I'm not sure if I see that film as surpassing 'The Razor's Edge' or as his best work since.
