Do we ask Georgia about your bit of paper?, Russia rolled right over them, now the whole world knows the US is toothless, and even when you turn up with Aid, Russia tells you off LoL. Looks like your days of Glory have gone the same way as the Brits ... never mind.

The job search is not going well and I am feeling a little depressed I advertised my CV on several middle eastern job centres and go one response from a spanish company that build plant equipment in china

Today I got back from Hong kong, after making a new china visa and now find I must leave/enter china every thirty days It's going from bad to worse

The 30 visa thing started here a couple of years ago, that is why I started a legal company (on paper) and process my residency and work permit each year and stay here legally as long as I want. Costs me about USD 3000 a year but so much less hassle than the stories I have heard from some that go the other route.....

I am unemployed and cannot afford to spend usd 3000 a year even if I knew how to do it If the cash runs out, there will be no help for me and so I must watch every dime.

Her mother is suffering from Alzimers and badly. Her sister adopted a child because she was told she could not have children and then found she was pregnant. She gave birth by operation and now the doctors say the baby may have brain damage

I bought a van last year and gave it to her sister's husband to start a small business. He used it and hit a dumper truck head on whilst overtaking. He almost lost his legs. My wife sold her mothers house to pay the medical fee's for his several operations.

So now, when her sister is out of hospital and back on her feet, I will have to open a small shop for her to look after the family

NOW, for those who are reading this - think long and hard about living and working in a developing country OK. It's not all honey and I worry about my wife's mental state as well.

For the two days I was in Hong Kong she did not get out of bed and tonight I had to, discretely, phone my wife's friend and ask her to take her out to eat and cheer her up.

I don't know how much longer I can take this pressure but I refuse to give in.

ERIC.
