Ok, so since I am here, I decided to pull apart the connectors. I have a metal brillow type pad, air can, electrical cleaner and some other stuff. I just a once over on all the components. I am going to do a second round now. I am hoping its the contacts thats at fault.

lolol, No I'm still here. I tried everything under the sun. Seeing as I still have the wrecked E320 sitting here at my job, I took the battery and hooked it up to the Benz and it light up fine, so its not the battery which I suspected. I found how to take shift lock off and tried to engage it and nothing. Seeing as the hazard lights and the security lights are the only things to turn on and no way to turn off I am left to assume its the anti theft system. It most likely killed the brain. I think I would have to get it to the dealership so they can reset it, which is going to be an expensive tow. I don't have a clue on how to get it towed out of a garage that has a down slope with a sharp 90 degree turn for exciting.

7 a.m. Monday looks to be a fun time for me........

Have you managed to get the windows up and the roof closed? Security systems that fail like this are not much value. I think you have done most everything I would have done. Does the car have a key function in the door that locks the doors, winds the windows up and closes the sunroof? If so, you may have to use that to tell the computer the car is locked in order for the computer to register that the car is unlocked. On my W210 MB disconnecting the battery means you have to reset all that stuff, and you do it with the key fob. I didn't and then tried to use the feature to open the roof and windows and it got cocked up and doesn't work at all anymore. So, now I have to set the windows to close and calibrate them so that auto open/close feature works, manually. Not sure if it affects my alarm system, but it is just a thought. Jim

I figured that might of been the case, but this car I suspect has killed the brain so nothing will get it running. I have a tow truck coming now. Its kinda stressful because I have it in some one's parking space here in the company garage. I have never seen a security system totally kill power to a car like this, makes me wonder.

I just called Infinity Dealership and they said that they have never heard of this happening, but I feel like it was the quickest way to say have it towed to them. In any event, I am stumped on this. I wish I had never taken the battery off. Well I am praying that nothing happened and in a worst case situation its a fuse or relay.

Fuck, just claim it's stolen and buy a Taurus. They'll never find it in that garage especially after you set it alight. Infinity shminity.

See, great minds think alike. A little strike of "Jewish Lightning" is probably as effective as letting the pro's take care of it.

And to think, Sly didn't believe a local car thief could disable whatever alarm was affecting it.

, I love this place.

I got my car back today and it drives like a dream. My mechanic only charged me $133. They replaced the connectors to the battery terminal and the a couple of fuses. The funny part is the tow truck company almost ripped off my bumper and now is paying to have all the body work done to fix my bumper. The place thats doing it restores classic sports cars and such. Out of bad comes good so thanks for the help guys.
