I just spent the night talking with my Daughter.

It seems that what I think is no longer relevant. To the younger crowd, I will retire with GRACE and spend my remaining time with you old Codgers. What say you?

Interestingly I just spent the early evening with a girl who adopted me as her dad since her dad threw her out of the house when she was 16 because he didn't agree with her choices. She is now 28. I have had that role for a decade.

How old is your daughter? Are you guys just going through one of those phases where nothing you say seems to connect?

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.

Today I had a hard time convincing the kids to go eat out after they saw what I was wearing. I had black socks with my sandals, white basketball shorts with a belt and a buttoned up Lacrosse shirt.
